When it comes to improving your rental property’s return on investment, energy efficiency might not be the first thing that comes to mind. However, implementing energy-saving measures in your new or existing multifamily residential building can not only help you (and your tenants) save on utility costs, but also improve the value and quality of your building.

Property owners and developers of multifamily residential buildings (buildings with 5 units or more) have multiple opportunities to save energy and money through the Hometown Energy Savers® program. Unsure where to start? Contact us at (800) 573-3503 for a free walkthrough of your property.

Building Upgrade Rebates

Owners and developers can get cash back incentives for both common area and in-unit upgrades. Review the Multifamily Program Rebate Application to make sure the products or equipment you plan to buy qualify for a rebate. Your completed application submission must include copies of all receipts and/or invoices clearly indicating the equipment type, make, model, price and date of purchase or installation.
