Boil Water Advisory Lifted for 13 BWL Customers

The boil water notice has been lifted for 13 Lansing Board of Water & Light customers on W. Mt. Hope Ave. between Pattengill Ave. and S. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. after weekend testing came back negative for any harmful bacteria. A non-BWL contract crew accidentally damaged a water main late Friday afternoon, resulting in a loss of pressure and causing the precautionary notice. The main has since been repaired and flushed.

Tap water is now safe to use for all purposes for these customers.
