Pay with your Checking/Savings Account or Credit Card (3rd party convenience fees may apply)

You can pay your utility bill with your checking or savings account or with your Credit or Debit Card. The BWL has partnered with a third party processor to accept electronic payments. You will need your 10 digit BWL account number(s) as well as the account number and transit routing number for checking and savings account payments; or your Credit Card / Debit Card account number, expiration date, and 3 digit verification code located on the far right hand side of the signature strip on the back of your credit card. For your security purposes, you will also need to enter the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number to ensure you are paying on the correct account. Our third party provider charges a convenience fee for these transactions. Fee amount will be provided to you prior to the completion of the transaction. (Effective November 1, 2012 )

Please call 1-517-702-6006 and select option #3. This service is available 24 hours a day, seven days per week

After your transaction has been approved, you will be given a reference number. Please allow 2-4 business days for the payment to be applied to your BWL account.

If your account is in shut-off status, you will need to speak to a BWL customer service representative at (517) 702-6006 in order to stop the shut-off process.

To avoid convenience fees, simply enroll in BWL eServices and sign up for electronic bill presentment (Paperless Billing) or enroll in BWL's AutoPay program where your payments are automatically drafted monthly from the account you set up. Either of these time saving programs will allow you to avoid those one-time payment convenience fees. Click HERE for more information about BWL's eServices.
