JULY 2008
TIP OF THE MONTH: Energy Conservation
Use warm or cold water for washing and rinsing your clothes rather than hot to save money. Use a cold-water detergent. To save both energy and water, set the water level to match the size of load of clothes to be washed. When in the market for a new clothes washer, consider a high efficiency model that will use an average of 30% less water and 40-50% less energy.
