The Lansing Board of Water & Light Board of Commissioners welcomed two new appointed members and a new member yesterday, May 9, at its May Committee of the Whole meeting held at the REO Town Depot.

Reappointed Commissioners Tracy Thomas (At Large) and Sandra Zerkle (Fourth Ward) will both serve until 2020. New Commissioner Beth Graham (Second Ward), a Certified Residential Appraiser, was appointed to serve the remainder of Mark Alley’s term until 2018, following his resignation earlier this year.

The BWL Board of Commissioners is made up of eight Lansing residents, each appointed for a four-year term on the Board by the Mayor and confirmed by City Council, and three non-voting members representing outside service territories. Commissioners serve without pay.
